Objectives:

• To develop a simple classification scheme capable of segregating knots into unique or near unique categories.
• To evaluate classification schemes using a standard set of knots.
• To apply selected classification scheme(s) to the knots registered in ABOK.
• To promote the prefered classification scheme and review feedback.
